Julia is a content creator who is always on the lookout for innovative and accessible ways to communicate complex issues.
With a wide-ranging background in writing, editing, and ESOL education, she believes that all communication should be of service to its audience.
In addition to her experience publishing newsletters, podcasts, and articles, Julia has an academic background in politics and cultural studies. She is very experienced with qualitative research – including survey research, focus groups, interview-based research, literary and film analysis, and ethnographic research – and loves to engage with gender and justice-related issues.
Her Dutch and Dominican background also lends her a uniquely international perspective on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
